Golden Albion emerged winner in the 2022 Bet9ja/ Delta state Football Association, (DFA) League with N1m cash price.
The Golden Albion beat Osevan club 2 nill to clinch the first position.
Both teams performed well during the match played at the Stephen Keshi Staduim, Asaba, the State capital.
Golden Albion scored the two goals at each half of the game while Osevan Fc wasted most of their chances, always shooting off target.
Although Osaven Fc failed to turn the table against Golden Albion but they smiled home with N500,000, a prize for the second position.
Meanwhile, Ndame Fc had earlier defeated Golden Feild Lion fc of Bayelsa in their third place match in afternoon, same day.
Ndame lone goal earned them the third place prize money of N 300,000, though they were hoping to win the game.
Chairman of the Delta State FA, Kenneth Nwanboacha, applauded the sponsors of the state league, the DFA board members and congratulated Golden Albion for emerging winners and other participating teams for playing according to the rules of the game.
Mr. Nwaboacha commended both the winners and losers for putting up a good fight, saying the are good ambassadors of their teams.
Super Agent, Dick Marvel, while appreciating Bet9ja for its contributions to youth games, thanked the Chairperson of Bet9ja Kunle Soname and the brand Ambassador Victor Ikpeba for being present at the final.
