The National Association of Nigerian Traditional Medicine Practitioners (NANTMP) Yobe state chapter has called on its members to improve their service delivery to the people of the state.
The Acting chairman NANTMP Yobe state Chapter, Alhaji Ado Yaro Gashua, made the called Sunday during a one day awareness and interactive meeting with the members of the association in Damaturu.
Gashua said, traditional Medicine Practitioner’s treat human mental and physical sickness using herbs, medicinal plants and other techniques traditionally used in the community.
He seek the state government intervention to the association for them to be equipped with modern technology.
“Having the modern equipments on how to go about traditional business in the state will help the traditional medicine sellers to enhance the effectiveness of the business in the state,” he said.
He called on all the traditional medicine practitioners in the state to pay much attention on the effectiveness of their business.
