“I am here to underscore the importance of open governance. This is the direction of public administration all over the world. We are serving a new administration  that is focused not only in delivering the dividends of democracy but investing in renewed hope in the citizenry.

“Renewed Hope for economic recovery, political stability and for the security of the nation.  In the economic front, we have a very strong economic management team that is working round the clock to change the narrative of micro and macro economic management in Nigeria.”

Earlier in his remarks, the DG of VON  expressed his desire to strengthen existing relationship between the two agencies
