Updated: More recoveries in Lagos, Abuja, others as NCDC confirms 34 new cases in Nigeria; Kano harvests 12

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) late Wednesday night reported more recoveries of patients with Covid-19.Though, the centre didn’t specify the states with the latest recoveries, Lagos, Osun, Enugu, Akwa Ibom states and FCT had reported had disclosed the number of patients earlier discharged on Wednesday.While FCT informed that a total of 12 patients have fully certified Covid-19 free, Lagos, Osun, Enugu and Akwa Ibom said 16, six, one and three were respectively declared negative to coronavirus.NCDC also confirmed that 34 new cases of COVID-19 have surfaced as follows: 18 Lagos, 12 in Kano, two in Katsina, one in Delta, one in Niger state.According to the centre via its twitter handle, “As at 11:20 pm 15th April there are 407 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. 128 have been discharged with 12 deaths.”
