Troops neutralise 2 terrorists in ambush

The Director Army Public Relations, Brig. Gen. Texas Chukwu has said that troops of 222 Battalion deployed in operation LAFIYA DOLE on while on ambush operation around Malari village Borno State neutralised two Boko Haram terrorists while others flee into the bush.
He said 10 bicycles were recovered from the terrorists during the encounter.
Chukwu also said the Nigerian Army said it has united reunited children abducted two years ago by Boko Haram terrorists with their parents at Ngafure village in Dikwa local government area of Borno state.
The troops of Operation Lafiya Dole rescued the hostages, two boys and two girls during a clearance operation at Maima village in Ngala local government area of the state.
According to Army spokesperson, Brig.
Gen. Texas Chukwu, 36 hand grenade was also recovered during the operation.
He said the rescued hostages are currently receiving medical attention at the military health facilities.
Chukwu restated the Nigerian Army commitment in rescuing all the hostages held by the Boko Haram terrorists.
