Troops of Operation SAFE HAVEN have killed one armed robber while several others escaped with gunshot wounds during a gun duel with the criminal during a night patrol along Angul Maraban Jama’a road in Barkin Ladi, Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State.
According to Coordinator Defence Media Operations, Maj. Gen. John Enenche in a statement weekend, the the patrol was conducted on 25 November 2020.
He said the troops also recovered Items recovered one locally fabricated pistol during the encounter.
Enenche said the troops have continued to dominate the general area with “aggressive patrols to deny bandits freedom of action.”
He urged the public to continue to provide credible information to the troops operating within their localities.
