That captivity can be turned

When the Lord turned again the captivity of Israel, we were like them that dream. Psalm 126:1.

The word “again” in the scripture shows that God had already turned the captivity of Israel before this time. This makes God a specialist in captivity turning.

Anyone who can do the same thing successfully over and over again is a specialist; that’s why I know that whatever you are passing through now is not beyond God. He has the power to turn it around.
Turn again our captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the south and north. Psalm 126:4
This is a passionate request from someone who believes in the captivity-turning ability of God. He was pleading with God to turn their captivity once again. He knew from past experience that God is a God of “again and again”: whatever he has done before, he can always do again and again.
The same God that gave Samuel to Hannah, gave Isaac to Sarah in her old age: The Almighty God that took Joseph to the palace from prison in Egypt also enthroned Esther as a queen in Babylon. God is no respecter of persons (Acts 10:34) or gender. He is not limited by space, time, location, race, colour or region. He is the Lord of all! No matter the peculiarity of your case or the season you are passing though now; God can easily change it for you. Daniel 2:21

Consider the hopeless situation of Elder Timi that was supernaturally turned around by prayer. He fell sick and was being treated by a specialist in a private hospital. Within few days he lost consciousness to the extent that he couldn’t recognize anyone. Series of test was carried out on him and the doctor handling his case came up with all manner of diagnosis and findings ranging from the brain being affected the lungs and liver. We were told that at that stage, he could not make it anyone and that even if he did; he will lose his memory and would be parlayed for the rest of his life. The specialist asked us to come and take him because there was nothing more that could be done, about his condition.
We took him to the general hospital while prayers was been offered on a daily basis by the church on his behalf. As days went by, it seems we were losing him because he had lost weight drastically and was in a comma. At the general hospital the doctor’s handling his case couldn’t give us any encouraging or hopeful news instead it was more like conducting an experiment or research on him. The only words that came out of the elders mouth at the time was either “amen” or calling on the name of Jesus. Prayer were intensified on his behalf both in the night and during the day.

I was particularly concerned because the Lord had spoken concerning his case that he (Elder Timi) owes his life to him (God) that he would not die but at that moment the case was becoming more alarming that almost everyone believed that he wasn’t going to make it anymore I got to the hospital on a Saturday evening and was almost in tears because of the sight of his condition. That day I got home and began to pray unto God and asked if he owes his life to you then why am I seeing the contrary and the Lord spoke and asked me to offer the prayer of mercy on his behalf, I called my ministers that were around that Saturday night into the church and we started praying. The next day when we got to the hospital it was like a dream: there was a great improvement and turnaround in his situation, he regained consciousness and began to respond to treatment. When he was to be discharged from the hospital they made the same statement of him not making use of his legs anymore but I was not bothered. When we got home, I took four mantle and tied on his two arms and legs. To God be the glory, when he was to go for his first check-up appointment with his doctor, he walked into the doctor’s office to an extent that the doctor couldn’t recognize him that he had to introduce himself. The doctor was full of surprises because she was expecting him on wheelchairs, the doctor had to call all the staff in the hospital that knew him when he was bed-ridden to come and see him and what was suppose to be an appointment for check-up became a tale of testimony and the faithfulness of our God.
To God be the glory, Elder Timi is still alive and in a very good shape after three years.
If you can cry unto God with faith in your heart, he will grant you the desire of your heart. Don’t lose hope; your situation can still change!

Prayer
Oh Lord thank you that you always hear us when we pray according to your will. Turn our captivity now, thank you that you have done it. Amen
