Supreme Court judgement: Adamawa dep gov. hails judgement, calls for citizen support

Adamawa state deputy Governor, Prof. kaletapwa Farauta, has applauded the judiciary for re- affirming the election of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri as the dully elected Governor of Adamawa state in the 2023 election.

Farauta gave this commendation in a press briefing in Yola, while reacting to the Supreme Court judgement which upheld the election of Fintiri.
She congratulated the Governor for his well deserved victory  and called on the APC candidate, Sen.Aishatu Binani and other opposition elements and all citizens of the state to join hands with the governor and move the state forward.

She further noted that with the litigation over, the administration will focus on delivering true dividends of democracy to the people of the state in various sectors which the governor has been doing since his election as governor in 2019 .

According to her, Adamawa state belongs to all and its development must be priority of all, hence “the need for all and sundry , to bury their political, tribal and religious differences and work together with the administration to take the state to its peak of development.”

The deputy governor, further assured the people of the state that the administration of Fintiri will not let them down  but will live up to their expectations and its promises to the people of the state.

She also commend the people of the state for their prayers and supports which continued to keep the administration going.

She assured that their efforts and sacrifices will not go in vein.
