Anambra State governor, Chukwuma Soludo, has assured the state FA of support even as he commended the state FA chairman, Chikelue Iloenyosi for doing a good job.
The governor made the pledge of supporting the FA when he met with Iloenyosi over the weekend.
The state FA media department in a statement made available to Newstap.com.ng disclosed that the governor during his meeting with Iloenyosi expressed satisfaction that the state FA is in the hands of an ex international who played the game and knows what to do to take the game to the next level in Anambra.
“The governor said he has been following all the giant strides Iloenyosi has made in the last few months since coming on board and pledged to throw his weight behind the FA.”
Meanwhile, Iloenyosi has expressed confidence that the state’s flag bearers in Federation Cup would go far in the competition whose Round of 64 draw was made last week in Abuja.
