The demonstration which was the fourth of its kind since the debacle in Zaria that led to the death of the renowned Shi’ite cleric Malam Mahamud Muhammad Turi and scores of other faithful took the protesters through all the nooks and crannies of Kano metropolis which abruptly ended at the Murtala Muhammed Specialist Hospital.

Blueprint learnt on good authority that the Shi’ites protesters had initially planned to take their case to Kano Government House to seek the intervention of the governor, but suddenly shifted ground at the eleventh hour after sensing the fear that they may incur the wrath of the law enforcement agents.
The protesters were however heard chanting anti Buhari slogan with spate of condemnation against what they touted as callous and despicable action of he military personnel that arrested their leader after  launching a ferocious attack on his residence.

According to the protesters, nothing would stop them from continuing with their protest until their leader was release from the custody of the Army along with other members in detention, saying nobody could  scuttle their bid to actualise their mission.
