Police Boxer, ASP Durodola Olanrewaju, knocks out Ghanian rival in 2nd round

A police officer and former World Boxing Council (WBC) Silver Champion, ASP Durodola Olanrewaju, alias Godspower, has defeated Nii Offeir Ododoo of Ghana, who had won three out of fights and lost only one, with  knock out.points in the second round of a-10-Round Cruiserweight Clash, Sunday, at Idrowhyt Event Centre Dansoman in Accra, Ghana.

Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, in a press statement, Monday in Abuja, said the victory was another feather added to the cap of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), and Nigeria at large. 

Adejobi, who thanked Nigerians  for their love and support to the Force, noted that the Boxing Champion is had also won World Boxing Federation (WBC) and African Boxing Union (ABU) Cruiserweight Championships.

He added that police officer has to his name 49 fights, with 40 wins, 37 by Knockout, and 9 losses.

The spokesperson explained that the fight was preparatory to the mega Cruiserweight Bout scheduled for June 10, 2023, against Canada’s Ryan Rozicki who has to his name 17 fights, with 16 wins and a loss.
