The Government of Osun state says it will digitalise the process of its school feeding initiative.
The Governor of the state MR Rauf Aregbesola who said this in Abuja at a technical meeting on Home grown school feeding and health programme stated that the government would issue electronic smart card to register pupil`s consumption of meal.
Aregbesola also stressed that the school feeding initiative has increased pupils enrolment by 25percent in Osun state added that over three thousand women food vendors were deployed and fully empowered by the government.
He, however, said that the programme has improved the health status of school pupils and reduced the incidence of school absenteeism.
