Osun indigenes in North back Oyetola as Aregbesola’s successor

A Northern based group of Osun indigenes, on the platform of Gboyega Isiak Oyetola support group, has declared that they will all return home to vote for the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the coming governorship election in the state.
The group said the best thing that should happen to Osun state is to have a reliable successor in person of Alhaji Oyetola to succeed the outgoing Governor Rauf Aregbesola developmental strides in the state.
In a communique issued in Abuja after the expanded meeting of the group yesterday in Abuja, which brought together members from 19 northern states, agreed to mobilise all the Osun indigenes living in the North who have obtained their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) to vote for the APC candidate.
The communiqué signed by the Chairman and acting Secretary of the forum Mr.
Femi Elumole and Alfa Lukman respectively, agreed to preach the gospel of continuity of Aregbesola led government.
While giving reasons for supporting the APC candidate who has served as the Chief of Staff to governor Aregbesola since inception of his government, the group listed among other initiatives: the Ultra Modern Comprehensive High, Middle and Elementary Schools, O’yes, O’yes tec, O’reap, O’clean, meal, O’Calisthenti, O’Ramp, O’Widow, O’Ambulance, Opon-Imo and Agba Osun.
Other attractive programmes to the group include: Safe and secured security network all over the state, Creation of LCDA and administrative offices to enhance distribution of dividends of democracy & grass-root governance, Durable and sustainable road network all over the state, Dualisation of Osogbo-Ikirun road, ‘Bisi Akande trumpet Interchange bridge Gbongan, Dualisation of Gbongan – Osocbo road, November 27 fly over bridge, Abere Osogbo, Osogbo-llesa east by pass (Ona baba ona) among others.
“Aregbesola’s government has raised the bar of good governance for your his successor and we strongly believe in the capacity of Gboyega Isiak Oyetola to move the state forward from where are now.
“We are calling on all the Osun Sons and Daughters to join hands with us in supporting a competent governorship candidate of APC.
“For those that are yet to secure their PVC at home (Osun state), we are appealing to them to hurriedly travel home now for this purpose because there no sacrifice too big or small in ensuring that the leadership of our dear state does not fall into the hands of those who does not believe in the progress of the state and its peoples.”
