Vice President Yemi Osinbajo would on Thursday represent President Muhammadu Buhari at the 25th anniversary of the liberation of Rwanda.
Osinbajo would join other African leaders and Heads of State expected at the occasion, scheduled forThursday, July 4, 2019 in Kigali, which would reflect on the end of the genocide in 1994.
The Vice President, who would be accompanied on the trip by senior government officials, leaves for Kigali this afternoon and is expected back in Abuja on Thursday, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity in the Office of the Vice President Mr Laolu Akande, said in a statement in Abuja.
