The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Ondo state chapter has assured those seeking to contest for positions in the forth coming local government congresses of free and fair contest.
It said the Ondo LG congresses would be devoid of any crisis or rancour.
The state chairman of the PDP, Engr Clement Faboyede, Said the congresses would make the party stronger ahead of the October governorship polls.
Engr. Faboyede said he has charged the newly elected Ward Executives of the party to emulate that state executive in carrying members along.
According to him, “The March 22 local government congresses will be the best in the country.
“There will be no problem. The PDP in Ondo is intact. We are properly positioned to win the governorship election.
“I have told the new executives to see politics as give and take. They should be focus and determined to mobilise people for our party at the grassroots.”
