NYC president pledges support for Nigeria’s security architecture

The President of the Nigerian Youth Congress (NYC), Comrade Blessing Akinlosotu, has been appointed as the Executive Director – Nigeria of the International Police Chaplain Sustainable Development and Law Enforcement, Inc. (IPCSL).

A statement issued by Akinlosotu’s Media Aide, Emmanuel Daudu, in Abuja on Monday, said his letter of appointment was signed by the IPCSL Africa Coordinator, Col. Johaness M. Makouvia for the High Council of Staff, Florida, USA, and co-signed by Amb. Wilkenson CESAR, Vice President of the Senior Staff Council, IPCSL Florida, USA.

The statement quoted the organisation as expressing optimism in the capacity and capability of Akinlosotu to lead its team in Nigeria and described him as a young Nigerian known for his hard work and sincere passion for the youth.

Akinlosotu, who was promoted to the rank of a Captain within the framework of the implantation and deployment of the Chaplaincy programme on the African continent last year, is charged with the responsibilities of coordinating national activities of the command, and supervising other African coordinators, among others.

The NYC president, according to the statement, promised to support the Nigerian security architecture in all areas of operations and pledged to be a good representative of the organization in Nigeria.

Those appointed alongside Akinlosotu include Dr. Raymond Edoh as the deputy executive director, of Northern, Nigeria;  and Mr. Samson Adeosun, deputy executive director, of Southern, Nigeria.

Recall that IPCSL had earlier communicated with President Muhammadu Buhari, and introduced the organization stating its aims and objectives in a letter signed by the President/General in Chief High Staff IPCSL. Florida, USA, Dr. Tardieu Ridore.

The organisation also admonished Buhari to ask relevant authorities to deal with its officers with confidence.
