Nwofor rescues draw for Super Eagles

Substitute Uche Nwofor rescued Nigeria from defeat with a late strike in a World Cup warm-up against Scotland in London Wednesday night.
Charles Mulgrew gave the Scots the lead after just 10 minutes, when he deflected James Morrison’s speculative effort beyond Austin Ejide in Nigeria goal.

The Super Eagles drew level four minutes from the interval when Michael Uchebo’s shot from distance was deflected and goalkeeper McGregor was wrong footed.
Scotland regained their lead in the 52nd minute, when Azubuike Egwuekwe turned Hutton’s cross into his net.
But on the stroke of full time, Nwofor snatched a late equaliser to save the Africa champions the blushes.
