After ten months in office, Osun state Governor, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola, has finally presented the list of commissioner nominees to the state House of Assembly for screening.
The list of commissioner nominees and Special Advisers was presented to the speaker, Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye, on Tuesday.
The list, it was gathered has 35 names including the incumbent president, Nigeria Guild of Editors, Mrs Funke Egbemode.
Names of former commissioners, candidates of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the last House of Representatives election, among others, appeared in the list.
Immediate past commissioners for Finance, Science and Technology, Health, Commerce and Cooperative, Messrs Bola Oyebanji, Remi Omowaye, Rafiu Isamotu, Yinusa Olalekan, made the list.
Former Special Adviser on Federal Matters, Mrs Idiat Babalola, former member of the House of Representatives, Nathaniel Agunbiade, among others, also made the list.
Son of former Interim National Chairman of APC leader, Chief Bisi Akande, Oluwafemi Akande, son of immediate past Minister for Health, Prof Isaac Adewole, Adedayo Adewole, are also on the list.
