The Nigeria Football Supporters Club has commiserated with legendary sportscaster and boss of foremost sports radio station in Nigeria, Larry Izamoje, on the death of his mother, Madam Felicia Ewere Izamoje.
In a statement by the national chairman of NFSC, Rev. Samuel Ikpea, it described the death as a rude shock.
Ikpea was however, quick to also remark that the late Madam Izamoje lived a good and fulfilled life.
“It is always sad and painful to accept the loss of loved ones. It is a fact that our mummy lived a Godly and fulfilled life; however, we are sad to lose her. We can only pray for the repose of her soul.
“On behalf of myself and members of the NFSC, home and diaspora, I pray that God grant our amiable and indefatigable sportscaster, Dr. Larry Izamoje and his family the strength and fortitude to bear this huge loss,” Ikpea prayed.
He said they are willing to play active parts in the burial activities of late Madam Felicia Ewere Izamoje, as a mark of respect for the Izamoje family.
