NCPC staff releases debut music album

A staff of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Mercy Ome-Ebere, recently organised a musical concert where she released her debut music album titled ‘Glorify the Lord,’ at the Church of Arch-Angels Diocese, Durumi-Gaduwa, Abuja.

Speaking to journalists shortly after the unveiling, she expressed gratitude to God for the success of the album lunch and further thanked her colleagues for “their unwavering support and love towards the project.”

She said, “I am fulfilled now. This is the happiest moment I have always wished and prayed for. To describe a little how I feel, I will say that this feeling is like that of a bride that just wedded or like a woman just delivered of her baby and I’m grateful to God for bringing his word to pass.”

She further noted that her inspiration for the album release was God, adding, “Sometime in 2010, I had an album I never launched and cannot even tell why. Sometime in 2018, in the middle of the night, the Lord asked me of my song book. After this encounter, I got one, and then songs keep coming till today and I keep appreciating God for that.”

Also speaking, the parish priest of the Church of Arch-Angels Dioceses, Durumi-Gaduwa, Abuja, Rev. Fr. Ambrose Anene, expressed gratitude to God who made the project a reality.

“I’m very happy to be here and to join others to glorify the Lord with Mercy. I am happy she has discovered her gift of singing, and she is using it to the glory God and to bless lives,” he said.

He further encouraged her to remain steadfast in God and advised every Nigerian youth to look inwards to discover their unique gifts and use them for the betterment of society.
