6,000 Jigawa youth get permanent, pensionable jobs

The Jigawa state government Tuesday presented to 6,000 youth across the 27 local government areas of the state with permanent and pensionable offers.

The occasion which was held at the Aminu Kano Triangle, Dutse, was attended by all state government functionaries.

In his opening remarks, the Secretary to the State Government, Ibrahim Mamser, said permanent employment letters were issued to 3,233 J-.Teach beneficiaries who were for long being on the waiting list.

Commissioner of Higher Education, Professor Yusuf Chamo, said permanent and pensionable employment had also  been given to 143 First Class graduates from the state.

Also Commissioner of Basic Education, Dr Lawal Inusa Danzomo, who was represented by the chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Professor Haruna Musa, said apart from the ones employed,  another set of 4,000 youth are on queue to be employed next time.

Another set of 827 junior staff and 178 senior staff of J-Health beneficiaries had also received their letters of permanent employment.
