President Goodluck Jonathan has approved the appointments of three Assistant Secretaries to serve in the National Conference Secretariat.
They are Dr. Akilu Indabawa, as Assistant Secretary, Conference Proceedings; Professor Mahmood Yakubu as Assistant Secretary, Finance and Administration; and Mr. James Akpandem as Assistant Secretary, Media and Communications.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Chief Anyim Pius Anyim.
According to the statement, the National Conference would be inaugurated on Monday, March 17, 2014, at the National Judicial Institute in Abuja at 11:00am.
The president has also approved the release of the names of the 492 delegates to the National Conference.
