Ligue 1 sensation Terem Moffi has selected the next winner of the prestigious Ballon d’Or, which will be announced on Monday.

The FC Lorient striker, who is joint leading scorer in Ligue 1 thus far, said Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has done everything to win the Ballon d’Or for this year.

“Benzema has won everything and scored a lot of goals,” Moffi told Ouest France.

“My African brother Sadio Mane was also very successful, but I think Benzema should win it.”

Moffi listed the qualities that make Benzema a top player.

“He has all the qualities that a striker should have, he works well in the midfield, he knows how to keep the ball, dribble, makes decisive passes and,of course, he scores a lot of goals,” he remarked.
