Governor Simon Lalong has approved the reappointment of the Executive Secretary, Plateau State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Barr Auwal Abdullahi.
The governor in a letter of confirmation to the ES signed by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Prof. Danladi Abok Atu, dated November 20, 2019, said “the reappointment is with effect from May 2019.”
Governor Lalong appreciated the ES, saying he had brought an uncommon feat into the state by making the refunds of millions of Naira to the coffers of government after the 2018 hajj operation, and also put lots of reforms that sanitise happenings in the board, within few months of his appointment.
In the letter of confirmation, Lalong said: “I am pleased to inform you that the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Rt. Hon. Simon Bako Lalong has approved your re-appointment as Executive Secretary, Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board with effect from 29th May, 2019.”
Lalong, while congratulating the ES for the services rendered, further said, “It is hoped that you will redouble efforts towards fulfilling the agenda of the administration in the second tenure.”
