Kaduna sweep 4th President Beach Volleyball titles

Hosts Kaduna state dominated the 4th edition of President Beach Volleyball Championship, winning all the senior and U-17 male and female trophies. 

The tourney, which had seven states and FCT, Nigeria Customs Service, Nigerian Correctional Service and Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corp in attendance, saw Kada Kings defeat Nigeria Customs Service male team to retain their title, as Kada Emeralds ends Nigeria Customs Service female dominance, to win the senior male and female titles respectively at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium on Saturday night.

Kada Stars won bronze in the male senior category, while Aso Queens won the female senior bronze medal. The winning teams won a giant trophy and the sum of N200, 000 cash prizes, the runners-up went home with a trophy and N180, 000 each, while the third placed teams won a trophy and N150,000 each. 

Kada Princes defeated Pro Spikers to win the U17 boys title, while Samba Boys placed third. Kada Princesses overcame the challenge of Katsina U17 girls, while Filkom school placed third. 

The winners won a big trophy and cash prize of N150,000, the runners-up won a trophy and N130,000 cash prize, while the second runners-up won trophy and N100,000 cash prize. 

Flourish Ayuba won the youngest male player award, while Joy Lawrence won the youngest female player award.
