JUSUN condoles with Buhari, Nigerians over Kyari’s demise

The Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) has commiserated with President Muhammadu Buhari and the entire nation over the death of his Chief of Staff (COS) Dr. Abba Kyari from COVID-19 complications.
According to a letter of condolences signed by the union’s president, Comrade Marwan Mustapha, addressed to President Buhari, the union described late Kyari as a patriotic Nigerian who, for the love of his country, traveled to Garmany for an official engagement.
Marwan said the trip to Germany may be where he contracted the dreaded disease.

Comrade Marwan further said the former chief of staff’s death came at a time the government of Nigeria needed him most.
The letter reads: “On behalf of the National Executive Council (NEC) and members of Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN), I write to condole you, the Government and people of the Federal Republic of Nigeria; over the demise of your Chief of Staff (COS), Dr. Abba Kyari, a patriot Nigerian and confidant who died due to complications from the dreaded corona virus.
“This is indeed a very trying time for you, the people of Nigeria and the world in general as the deadly pandemic is ravaging the entire nations of the world and especially the global economy.

“His death is no doubt an irreparable loss to you, his family, and the entire nation, even at a time he was needed mostly to complete the good and wonderful work your government has been doing to place the country on the path of enviable growth and development.
“To say that his patriotic zeal for the country forced him to go to Germany in respect of a contractual agreement to improve our troubled electricity sector; where he probably contacted the disease that eventually led to his death, says the least of his unquantifiable love for Nigeria and her people.
“We pray that Allah gives you and the members of his family the fortitude to bear the loss. Please accept my profound condolence”.
