Jonathan mourns Emir of Gombe, Maryamu Kutigi, Teshoma Amuka-Pemu

President Goodluck Jonathan yesterday condoled with the government and people of Gombe state over the death of the Emir of Gombe, Alhaji Shehu Abubakar.
The president also commiserated with the chairman of the National Conference, Justice Idris Legbo Kutigi over the death of his wife, Hajiya Maryamu Kutigi, and the Publisher of Vanguard newspaper, Mr. Sam Amuka-Pemu on the recent death of his mother, Mrs. Teshoma Amuka-Pemu.

In a condolence message issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Dr Reuben Abati, Jonathan said the late Emir of Gombe would be greatly missed for ruling Gombe Emirate with immense wisdom and dedication for many years.
He prayed that the Almighty God Almighty would comfort the families of the deceased and grant them the fortitude to bear the loss of the matriarchs who played very commendable roles in improving the lives of their family members and communities.
