The INEC has declared Peoples Democratic (PDP) Party Chief Emmanuel Chinedum Ndubuisi winner Bende South state constituency.
Professor Philippa, the returning officer, announced that Chief Emmanuel Chinedum Ndubuisi of the PDP defeated his All Progressives Party (APC) counterpart, Hon Chibuzor Okogbuo with 4,426 votes to 4,415 votes to emerge victorious.
However, the announcement of the result did not go down well with the APC candidate who alleged threatened the returning officer a development that prompted the security agents to whisk and the materials away to INEC headquarters in Umuahia.
Meanwhile, it was jubilation galore as people gathered to celebrate the victory of the Uzuakoli-born lawmaker-elect.
