IGP commissions new police headquarters in Adamawa 

The inspector General of police IGP kayode Egbetokun  has commissioned  a new ultra modern police headquarters in Adamawa state, with the state of art facilities to provide conducive working atmosphere for the officers and men of the command.

Commissioning the new edifice at the weekend in Yola, the IGP said said it is his second visit to the state, since his assumption to office.

He said he is happy that this time around he has come to commissioned  a new police headquarters which will provides conducive atmosphere for the officers and men of the command to discharged their duties of protecting lives and properties without hindrance. 

He further explained that the project is more than just a physical structures but a testament of  commitments, a symbol of their dedication to justice  and prioritising the welfare of officers to improve service delivery in Adamawa.

He urged officers and men of the command to redoubled their efforts in fighting crime and criminality in the state, adding that he is proud of the facilities. 

The IGP further assured officers and men of the Nigerian police not only in the state, but in Nigeria as a whole of his commitments and readiness  to  work tirelessly to ensure that they are well equipped  to discharged their duties effectively. 

Earlier in his welcome addressed, Adamawa state police commissioner CP Dankwambo Morris, commended the IGP for his visionary leadership and continued supports which enabled them to records so many successes especially in reducing crime and criminalities in the state.

The Commissioner further noted that since his redeployment to the state, he has continued to discharge his duties in line with the view of IGP and with high sence of professionalism and respect to the rule of law  resulting into so many breakthroughs which he attributed to the commitments of the officers and men of the command.
