Hajj: Jigawa pilgrims depart tomorrow

Max Air, one of the Airlines to airlift intending Nigerian pilgrims to the Holy Land for the 2014 Hajj exercise, said it has concluded arrangements for the commencement of the airlift, scheduled to be flagged off tomorrow at the Dutse International Airport, Jigawa state.
One of the directors of the company, Alhaji  Adamu Yanduna, who disclosed this to news men in Dutse, said already one of their planes had arrived at the airport.

He said that they had concluded all preparations with the National Hajj Commission, airport authorities for the commencement of the exercise, adding that there were no hitches at all.

He said that the airline would airlift Jigawa state’s pilgrims within four trips, stating that one plane was enough to do the job.
Yanduna said that Max Air would airlift a total of over 45,000 pilgrims and assured the intending pilgrims that they would be airlifted on scheduled to the Holy Land, pointing out that they had five-number of 747 airlines which would perform the Hajj operations.

On pilgrims’ luggage, the director explained that 10 kilogrammes were allocated for the hand luggage, while 40 was for the big luggage, adding that any pilgrim who complied with the rule would definitely come back home with his or her load.
He warned intending pilgrims as usual to strictly adhere to the rules and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
