Foundation reiterates commitment to assisting the poor

Barr Sam Otoboeze Foundation (BSOF) has reiterated its commitment to giving hope to the hopeless and helping the less privileged to ensure that no one is left behind in the society.

BSOF orgnisational manager, Erica Okibe Agbenua, stated the commitment in Kaduna Tuesday while presenting nine persons with disability, resident in Kaduna supported by the Foundation with artificial limbs to Kaduna state Commissioner for Human Services and Social Development, Hajiya Hafsat Baba.

She said the national coordinator, BSOF, Mr. Ambrose Maduka Odu, warmly received the nine beneficiaries when they arrived at Port Harcourt on Nov. 11, 2020.

“He congratulated the beneficiaries for ‘taking a leap of faith’ by travelling all the way from Kaduna to Rivers state to change their situation and better their lives. He pointed out that everyone has a need, adding that the burning desire in the heart of BSOF is to give hope to the hopeless, irrespective of religion, tribe or social class.

“He strongly advised the beneficiaries not to limit themselves but use this opportunity to better their lives by turning their stories around for the world to see and learn from,” he said.

Erica said over the years, BSOF has facilitated the donation of artificial limbs to over 300 beneficiaries from different parts of the country and would continue to do so in accordance with the Foundation’s motto of ”giving hope to the hopeless”.
