FCT: Ex-NBA vice chair bags African leadership award 

A former vice chairman of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), Gwagwalada branch, Chief Barr David Abosetale Aigbefoh, has bagged icon of leadership award conferred by Focus Africa Series. 

Dr. Aigbefoh was presented with the Focus Africa leadership award on Sunday at the 5th anniversary of Focus Africa Magazine, which took place at Nicon Luxury Hotel, Abuja. 

Chief Aigbefoh was unanimously selected for special recognition and presented with one of the highly coveted awards of Focus African Legal Icon award in recognition of his remarkable accomplishments as a legal practitioner, service to humanity and positive contributions to the growth and advancement of the African continent.

Focus African Series, which organised the event, said the platform was carefully packaged “to re-tell the African story through contemporary performances of African people and to appreciate those who have projected the collective image and aspirations of the African people through their various works and professions across diverse sectors whilst creating sustainable impact that uplifts others and the continent.”

Other distinguished awardees on the night include people from Morocco, South Sudan, and Nigerians who were also honoured with the distinguished award. 

Speaking while accepting the award, Barr Aigbefoh dedicated the award to his partners at his law firm, and thanked Focus Africa Series for finding him worthy  to receive the award.
