Ahead of the Eid-el-Fitr celebration, the Commissioner of Police in charge of the FCT, CP Bala Ciroma, has assured residents of the territory that the command has deployed adequate security measures to ensure a hitch free celebration.
Police Public relations Officer (PPRO) for the command, DSP Anjuguri Manzah, in a press statement on Monday, said: “The Command has put in place proactive security measures to fortify Eid praying grounds, shopping malls, gardens, recreational spots, critical infrastructures, motor parks and other areas that will be a beehive of activities during the celebration.”
He said the CP while felicitating with Muslim faithful as they commemorate the Eid-el-Fitr enjoined FCT residents to be security conscious and report all suspicious movements to the nearest Police formation or call the following police distress call numbers:
