Edo guber: Retire PDP, APC, AAC candidate tells electorate

The candidate of African Action Congress (AAC) for the September 21 governorship election in Edo state, Dr. Udoh Oberaifo has said his party was the alternative to rescue the state and its people from political, social and economics quagmire.

He urged the electorate to reject the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the polls, because according to him, the  people had been impoverished due to bad economic policies, decayed infrastructure and insecurity of the respective parties.

The AAC candidate who disclosed this shortly after he officially unveiled his deputy, Lord Osunde pledged: “My government will stand for true leadership, a new perspective, vibrancy, innovation and provide good leadership and governance to all Edo state residents and citizens.”

“And with our deputy governorship candidate, Lord Osunde, who before his defection to AAC was a staunch member and leader of the Labour Party and Obidient Movement in the state, tells you that the people wants alternative to APC and PDP.

“As a matter of fact, Osunde was a pioneer member who organised the first two million Obidient Movement walk in the state and the structures across the three senatorial districts. He  has found it important to join our party,” he added.

Continuing, Oberaifo said if elected, he would put the people first before politics, adding that power mongering, god-fatherism, personal gains would be relegated.
