Displaced Borno district heads get gov’s car boost

Traditional rulers from eight districts of Dikwa Emirate Council in Borno state have been presented with new brand jeep cars by the state government.

Presenting the keys of the eight donated vehicles to the benefiting district heads, on behalf of Governor Kashim Shettima, the Shehu of Dikwa, HRH, Alhaji Muhammad Ibn Shehu Master II El-Kanemi, commended the governor for supporting the traditional rulers in the state.

He called on everyone to intensify prayers for peace to reign in the state and the country.
The benefiting traditional rulers are those of the districts of Rann, Kala-Balge, Gamboru, Mallam-Maja, Gajibo, Massa, Babashe as well as that of Wulgo.

In their separate responses, the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the governor and the Shehu of Dikwa for their concern, reiterating their loyalty to the present administration.
