The Dangote Group has concluded plan to establish a cement factory in Adamawa state, Special Adviser to the President /CEO of the Company. Engr Joseph Makoju has disclosed.
He made the disclosure when he led its management team on a courtesy visit to the governor of Adamawa state, Senator Mohammad Umar Jibrila Bindow at the Government House, Yola recently.
He said the team was in the state on the governor’s invitation as part of plan to stabilize the state for investors.
The factory which is to be established in Guyuk local government area of the state, will create more than 10,000 job opportunities for residents when completed.
In his remark, Governor Bindow told the visiting group that the state was willing to encourage the investors to create job opportunities and increase the state revenue, assuring that the right environment would be created.
