Engr. Suleiman Yahaya Richifa of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has been declared as winner of the Federal House of Representatives seat for Soba Federal Constituency with 21,516 votes.
The returning officer for House of Representatives election, Soba Federal Constituency, Dr. Laminu Shatima Kuburi, while declaring the results, said, ”the PDP candidate scored 21,516 votes, APC 19,432 votes, PRP 4,978 votes, NNPP 1,115 votes, LP 163 votes, AD 69 votes and SDP 21 votes.
Engr. Suleiman Yahaya Richifa is the incumbent Chairman of Soba local government area.
Speaking while declaring the winner, Dr. Kuburi said, “Having recorded the highest number of votes and having satisfied the requirement of the law, the PDP candidate is hereby declared the winner and returned elected”.
