A former stalwart of the People Democratic Party in Kogi state, Senator Alex Usman Kadiri, had called on Nigerians to vote for General Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) in the forthcoming general election to rescue the nation from total collapse.
Kadiri who recently dumped the ruling party for the All Progressive Congress (APC) said the presidential candidate of APC is the most credible and reliable out of all the people contesting for the exulted position.
He alleged that the present administration of President Goodluck Jonathan has caused a colossal damage to the country, saying the only way the nation can be salvage is through surgical operation which he noted that it is only Buhari that can carry out such responsibility going by his track record on probity and accountability.
The former lawmaker explained that his decision to join APC was borne out of the way and manner the PDP at the State level have refused to involve him in its activities saying that he made his protest known to the appropriate quarters without any positive change.
According to him: “We have been shouting lack of internal democracy in PDP, the leaders of the party do things with impunity and believe that nobody can challenge them.
“The people in power today believe they own PDP and they have been steering the ship of the party to the point of wreck, I think they have virtually wrecked it now. It is their making”.
