Buhari, Osinbajo meet IGP

President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday met behind closed-doors with the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Kpotu Idris, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The meeting came few hours after police laid siege on the residences of the President of the Senate, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki, and his deputy, Mr.
Ike Ekweremadu.
The police boss also met with Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.
The IGP did not speak with State House correspondents after the meeting, and the Presidency was yet to issue a statement on what transpired at the meeting.
The IGP had in a letter summoned the Senate President over his alleged involvement in a robbery attack in Offa, Kwara state.
The police alleged that some suspects made statements that linked the SenatePresident to the robbery
