Breaking: Pandemonium at APC’s Buhari House over building collapse rumours

There was pandemonium Thursday at the national secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) recently named after President Muhammadu Buhari over rumours that the building was shaking and was about to collapse.

The said ruling party house is situated at no 40, Blantyre street Wuse 11, Abuja, in the Federal Capital Territory.

According to eyewitnesses, the rumours started at about 5:10pm when a senior party man was seen shouting on top of his voice from the fourth floor, calling on all staff to quickly vacate the building due to the shaking of the building.

Party staff, Journalists, security men and other workers were seen scampering for safety.

It was unclear what could have been responsible for the fear as people were running helter skelter for their lives.

A staff told our correspondent that “Rumour had it that some part of the building were shaking and everyone had to take cover thereby forcing everyone outside the secretariat.”

As at the time of filing this report, so many staff and others working in the big building did not return there to continue their work for the day.

Our correspondent report that no concrete evidence to show what could have responsible for the fear that took over the entire Buhari House.
