Breaking: Lawmakers slam suspension on Kano state anti-corruption cza

Kano State House of Assembly has suspended the Chairman Kano state Public Complainants and Anti-Corruption Commission, Barrister  Muhuyi Magaji Rimin Gado, for one month over the rejection  of an  accountant sent to the Commission by the office of the accountant General of the State .

This followed a letter of complaint against him sent to the house by Office of the Accountant General of the state.

The letter revealed that the chairman has appointed a grade level 4  officer as the accountant of the commission, contrary to the State Law.

On his part, the Majority Leader of the House Alhaji Labaran Madari asked the House to hand over the matter to the House committee on public complaints and anti-Corruption for a thorough investigation and action.

Also, the House asked the committee to compile the report to the House in two weeks.
