A 80-year-old man, Ibrahim Matuk, was yesterday rescued from insurgents at Shaltimari village by Troops of 29 Task Force Brigade in Borno state.
Army spokesperson, Col. Sani Usman, said Ibrahim suffered untold hardship in the hands of the insurgents, who are known to kill children and women while in captivity.
