APC move to reconcile Uzodinma, Okorocha

The national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, has kick-started process to reconcile Imo state Governor, Hope Uzodinma, and the former state governor, Rochas Okorocha.

The two big wings of APC have been at daggers drawn since Uzodimma was made governor by the Supreme Court in 2020.

Uzodinma and Okorocha accompanied by Ganduje are said to have met Vice President, Kashim Shettima, on Friday night.

Ganduje earlier took the duo to the presidential Villa to meet President Bola Tinubu but could not see him because he was at another meeting, a source said.

Another meeting with the President will likely hold tonight at Tinubu’s residence as APC prepares for the governorship election in Imo state.
