APC, Dogara, Masari, Tambuwal condole with Tinubu, Goje

All Progressives Congress (APC) said it received the sad news of the death of Jide Tinubu, the son of the former governor of Lagos state and the party’s National Leader, Sen. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, with great shock and grief.
In a statement yesterday in Abuja the party’s spokesman, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, described the late Jide Tinubu as industrious and cerebral lawyer.
“It is never easy losing a child or any loved one. Indeed, it is hardest when they are taken from us too soon. Many who met the late Jide Tinubu, who was a lawyer, fondly described him as cerebral, industrious and full of life,” the statement said.
Similarly, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, commiserated with former Lagos state governor, and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on the loss of his son.
Dogara, in a personal message yesterday said “I commiserate with our national leader, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, over the demise of his son Deji.”
In the same vein, Governor Aminu Bello Masari of Katsina state and his Sokoto state counterpart, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, yesterday, described the death of the young lawyer as shocking and commiserated with the APC leader over the demise of his son.
Both governors were at the Asokoro residence of Bola Tinubu to condole with him on the death of Jide before proceeding to the residence of Senator Danjuma Goje to commiserate with him over the loss of his wife, and prayed for the repose of her soul.
