Ahmed Musa’s Al Nassr go top of Saudi Arabia league

Ahmed Musa’s Al Nassr have toppled Al Hilal at the summit of the league in Saudi Arabia after they beat their closest rivals 3-2 at home Friday night.

Super Eagles stand-in skipper Musa was excused for the friendly against Egypt in Asaba so as to be part of this top-of-the-table clash.

He started the game before he was replaced in the closing moments.

He has scored five goals in 19 appearances in his first season in Saudi Arabia.

Al Nassr now have 58 points from 25 matches, while Al Hilal are on 57 points.
