Gunmen, Sunday night, burnt the Oguta High Court in Oguta local government area of Imo State.
This incident occurred barely 10 days after a magistrate, Nnaemeka Ugboma, was assassinated at the Ejemekwuru High Court in the same local government area.
Blueprint gathered that the court building was razed down, leaving the Secretary’s office, the registry, the records room, the court room etc in shatters.
When contacted, the Sole Administrator of the local government area, Ofili Ijioma, confirmed the incident but added that a report had been made to the security agencies.
However, the Imo Police Command’s spokesman, ASP Henry Okoye, is yet to make a statement on the incident.
