Abike Dabiri returns as NIDCOM Chairman

President Muhammadu Buhari has forwarded to the Senate for confirmation, re – appointment of Mrs Abike Dabiri – Erewa as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM).

The President in another request , sought for consideration and confirmation of appointments of six new federal commissioners for Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission ( RMAFC).

Specifically, President Buhari in the letter seeking for re – appointment of Abike Dabiri – Erewa as NIDCOM Chairman for second term of five years, said the nomination is in accordance with provision of section 2 sub section 2 of NIDCOM Establishment Act 2017.

According to him, re – appointment of Abike Dabiri – Erewa as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of NIDCOM will facilitate effective service delivery in the agency.

President Buhari in the letter for consideration and confirmation of appointments of six federal commissioners for RMAFC, said the request was hinged on provision of section 154 sub section 1 of the 1999 Construction (as amended ).

The six federal commissioners are Senator Ayogu Eze (Enugu State ), Peter Opara ( Imo State), Hawa Umar Aliyu (Jigawa), Rekiya Tanko Ayuba (Kebbi) , Ismaila Mohammed Agaka (Kwara ) and Kolawole Daniel Abimbola .
