Respect Ramadan, stop killings, KFP begs B/Haram, ISWAP

The Kalthum Foundation for Peace (KFP) chairperson, Ambassador Ummu Kalthum Muhammad, has said holy month of Ramadan is supposed to be a month of prayer, repentance and meditation for Muslim faithful all over the world.

Ambassador Kalthum said this in a press statement signed and made available to newsmen in Gombe Monday.

“It is acknowledged by all and sundry that Borno which is an integral part of Kanem Borno Empire is an Islamic domain, ” said Ummu.

She also appealed to the Jama’atul all Sunna Lil Daawati wal Jihad, Islamic State in West Africa Province and Khilafa to shield their sword and stop all hostilities in this holy month.

“We are also appealing to the government, military and security agencies to do the same,” she pleaded.

Ambassador Kalthum also urged government and the insurgents to find other ways of resolving grievances.

“Kalthum Foundation for Peace (KFP) will always be concerned about issues of peace-building and conflict management vis-a-vis equity and justice for everyone, ” the chairperson said.
