Osun govt reopens schools


In view of the review of curfew impose on the state, Osun state government has announced reopening of public and private schools on Monday, November 2nd, 2020.


The state government also approved the extension of 3rd term by one week due to some crisis that occasioned closure of schools. 


A statement by the Coordinating Director, Ministry of Education, Mrs C. K. Olaniyan, made available to newsmen in Osogbo, on Thursday, said the reviewed academic calendar for 2020/2021 academic session will be released soon. 


She said, “consequent upon the extension approval, the current term will no longer end on the 30th October, 2020 but will now  terminate on 6th November, 2020.


“All public and private schools in the state are to resume academic activities on Monday 2nd November, 2020 to conclude the extended 3rd term,” she stated.
