No fewer than two persons were feared dead in an early Monday inferno at the residence of the former governor of Oyo state, Late Adebayo Alao-Akala.
Sources said the fire incident reportedly raced down one of the four buildings in the late governor’s complex in the Randa area of Ogbomoso.
Sources stated further that the deceased were residing in the affected building while others scampered for safety and escaped by whiskers.
According to sources, the cause of the fire incident was yet to be ascertained as at the time of filing this report while the extent of damage has not been established.
